About the area
Anglesey is a beautiful, unspoilt Island in North Wales offering a relaxed scenic holiday destination surrounded by stunning beaches, traditional coastal villages, beautiful walks and now some fantastic restaurants.
There is something to do for everyone - watersports or a simple day on the beach, walking up Holyhead mountain or to the 'Lookout' at Rhoscolyn, crossing the famous bridge to Southstack, fishing for Seabass or taking in the history at Beaumaris with its famous castle. Rhoscolyn is only about 35 minutes drive away from Snowdonia with all the new exciting activities there.
The island is renowned for its walks, and Borth Escob is situated right next to the Anglesey coastal path, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Getting around
A car is advised but not essential!
The cottage is only around 15 minutes from Holyhead train station and port, and with Tesco delivering to the cottage, you don't necessarily need a car.
